Kurzzusammenfassung

The proposal of a new European Data Protection Regulation contains some rules for the privacy by default approach. This talk analyses if the proposed rules are generally applicable to privacy issues in Social Networking Sites. After that a new concept called freedom of choice by default is introduced which seems to be a good extension to the rules of the proposed regulation in the special area of Social Networking Sites.
